Professional Internship
I was unfortunate to have the opportunity to work as a graphic design assistant in the Communications Team at the Information Technology System (ITS) at ISU. I worked collaboratively and assisted my supervisors in the department focusing on WorkCyte and the launch of the new school’s business and technology system, Workday. I got the chance to create graphics for the Workcyte website and some on-campus exciting events.
I was assigned with the task to design engaging thumbnails of the articles for the Workday updates for incoming and current students and faculty on campus.

I revised the old thumbnails with the new ones and created new thumbnails for upcoming articles for several articles on the WorkCyte website. This opportunity gave me a more in-depth understanding and design thinking to incorporate article content, target audience and my decisions as a designer.
As the lead designer, it was my responsibility to pluck the essence of the content to represented as the ‘frontrow’ on the webpage by reading and watching the articles and videos.

ITS Quarterly Newsletter
I developed a series of graphic for the Winter 2024 ITS Quarterly Newsletter. The update encapsulated key technology updates regarding the Workday rollout Phase III and other takeaways regarding CyBox, AI and digital accessibility project.
Sticker Flyers
Flyers I designed to promote our department’s stickers. The flyers were to be handed out at the ITS booth at orientation days for new students.
Techscape Sticker
Techscape sticker series is a project by our department to create a set of stickers where we created a hybrid shape of the buildings in campus area with a technology device.
This was a small and quick task that I worked on. The shape that I chose was to combine the administrative building, Catt Hall, with a big speaker.
Newsletter Graphics

The Workday project has newsletters called Workday Forecast and Workday Wednesdays. Besides doing minor copywriting tasks, I focused on creating the supporting graphics for both newsletters.
As a lead designer, I was responsible in creating cohesive and related graphics to be continuously featured in the newsletters.

This was a quick task where I was assigned to curate an introductory presentation to be presented at a conference with the updated roster of the current year.
